Father: Morris 1864- Bessie Francis Morris was born on January 29, 1882, in Pennsylvania, her father, Abraham, was 32, and her mother, Elizabeth, was 40. Her parents were from Wales and immigrated to the US in 1870.
She married John Brewster Jones prior to 1900 in her hometown of Edwardsville, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. John worked as a coal mine laborer, then made a switch to working on the railroads in New Jersey. Every few years they seemed to have moved throughout Southern New Jersey. First in Avalon in 1905, in 1910 they had moved to Millville, Cumberland County. In 1913 they lived in Richland, Atlantic County, then Dennis in 1920, and Woodbine in 1930. They had six children in 12 years. She died on September 28, 1935, in New Jersey at the age of 53.
